Sliding into Laziness

It being a warm day, the chill was quite welcoming in the early hours of the morning. Getting to check the phone has now become a habit. I think, this addiction has added to my laziness. Yesterday, we went to visit a holy place. The serenity was telling. We usually like to avoid crowded places. Luckily it was not. We feasted our eyes on the fruits and the flowers in the campus. There were pomegranates, plantain flowers, so huge, they looked like giants, compared to the one I'd posted here earlier. The shrine looked inviting. The statues carved on the outside walls added to the architectural charm. There were rangoli designs on the freshly washed floors painted in red. The wet Rangoli designs were striking. We had our lunch in a hotel and returned by midafternoon. We had taken the public transport for a change. Also travelling being free of ticket fare, the outing suited our budget. Today am feeling lazy even to get soaked in the sun
