I mentioned the other day at a prior post that I was watching a clean-cut wholesome TV show. I haven’t seen one of those in a really long time.
It’s called Granite Flats and apparently originally aired on TV from 2013 to 2015 but is now on Amazon Prime Video.
Like I told you before it’s set in the cold war 1960s in a small town in Colorado. The strongest cuss word I’ve heard so far has been. “Holy Smokes!”
There hasn’t been any kissing. There’s been no nudity. There’s been no sex. There’s been no drugs. The kids are all well mannered and say. “Yessir” and “No sir.” Everyone follows the rules.
It’s a really cute premise involving kids around nine years old playing private investigator, and the possibility of aliens.
Well, I looked further into why it’s such a clean cut wonderful show and apparently it was created by BYU TV which I understand is Brigham Young University, which is a Mormon college in Utah. I wasn’t previously aware of this commercial-free, free, family oriented, television network.
It’s such a breath of fresh air and there’s no hidden agenda in the show.

I have BYU TV on the channel lineup. A mix of family series like Heartland, family movies, religious programming, BYU sports and reality.
