After all this time from being in the hosp "3 yrs later"
my new Dr I'm seeing has suggested to start taking
"Magnesium"
He didn't say how many mg's
he has just said 2-400 in a bottle
say what ?
I get to Wally world go to the vitamin health section
look for what he said & there's all kinds of the stuff
mg's, gummies, So I got a bottle of 300 with 250 mgs.
I seen on the bottle take 1 a day so that's good
But then I get on the internet & get to looking &
find (the link B-low) so why after all this time to
suggest taking this or is there a reason why they
didn't suggest this sooner ? read what it does.

My doctor told me to take it because I’m low on magnesium and ended ip in the ER twice for it. I couldn’t walk without help it was so low. It helps your muscles function, and doctors recommended it a lot for sleep because it also works as a muscle relaxer. Which you know by now, of course. A lot of Mylotters have talked about taking it at night for sleep. It doesn’t make me sleepy though.

Well that's a good thing to know, "doctors recommended it
a lot for sleep because it also works as a muscle relaxer."
I'll make sure to take it with my evening meds so I can
function more in the daytime.

This supplement can help with a range of health issues when prescribed. Magnesium supports relief from cramps, muscle pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and even anxiety, stress, and irritability. It’s often suggested for those showing signs of low magnesium levels. While it’s naturally present in many common foods, some people’s bodies don’t absorb it effectively, making supplements necessary to ensure proper absorption.

That's news to me, I've heard of Magnesium but
never knew it was useful in so many health problems.
thank you for the info.

Glad you finally found a doctor who's looking out for you. I'd just stick with the 1 a day on the bottle and ask him at your next visit why now, he probably has a good reason. Magnesium is one of those things a lot of folks run low on and never get checked for.

That's what he said, we're still waiting on the blood test
to come back to see what they have to say.
