Another storm coming?

That's what they are starting to talk about on the weather forums, the Facebook pages, and even the actual hurricane tracker websites. Now, it hasn't turned into a hurricane, and it isn't even really a tropical storm at this point. It's way too early to know what, if anything, will come of it. But after just getting hit with one, people are understandably a little on edge. The weather this weekend has been doing actual fall and winter things, with the wind blowing all kinds of stuff around that was just uprooted last weekend. We are still cleaning up from the last storm, so the thought of possibly having to deal with another one this soon isn't exactly exciting. We are still mostly prepared if another one does come our way. We have been through this before, and we know what we need to do. But then again, we don't really panic around here. We just prepare for what we can and hope for the best. That doesn't mean we aren't paying attention, though. There is a difference between being prepared and worrying yourself sick over something that may or may not happen. Right now, it's just something to keep an eye on while we go about our normal lives. Still, I think everyone around here would be perfectly happy if hurricane season decided to leave us alone for a little while. We have had enough excitement lately, thank you very much! So, let me ask you all something. If you had just gotten through a tropical storm or hurricane, were still cleaning up after it, and then started hearing talk about another possible one heading your way, how would you handle it? Would you be a complete mess and start panicking, or would you take it in stride, keep an eye on the forecasts, and prepare for the possibility without getting too worked up about it? I'm curious how everyone else would react, because I know we all handle this kind of thing a little differently.

Fortunately, I do not have to worry about such things.
