Halloween Treats

The Halloween treats, packages of small candies, small chocolate bars and so on, are out on the shelves. Even with the sale prices on them it is easy to see that the cost of both sugar as well as cocoa, has risen in the past year. The costs today for these treats is outrageous. It seems that the best valued treat seems to be the small packages of chips.
Thankfully we do not get many kids at the door, but this year it is on a weekend so I have a feeling that there will be more.
I am considering doing up little bags with a juice box and a small bag of chips in it.
If we do not get many kids, our granddaughters can have the leftovers. For them I will do up an arrangement of full sized chocolate bars, and some homemade chocolate items on a stick from the local chocolatier.
Have you considered what to give out to the littles on halloween this year?

We don't get trick-or-treaters here. I saw that our grocery already has Halloween candy 33% off.

That sounds like a great idea! The little bags with juice boxes and chips would be a fun and practical treat for the kids. I haven’t made any Halloween plans myself, but I think a mix of sweet treats and healthier options is always a good idea.

Trick or Treat isn't big in this community There aren't many kids here. Your treat ideas sound good.

We don't get any out here so I don't have to worry about it.
