Ants in my Laptop

Yesterday as I switched on my laptop and started working, ants started coming out. This is the first time it happened. Wondered what is so sweet in there? Wires? Or probably whatever I write or watch? Anything I need to do about this?

I think ants can sometimes make their nests inside electronic devices. I would suggest switching off the laptop and checking for ants around your desk too. Don't spray anything inside it. If they keep coming out, you might need to have it cleaned by a technician. Did you see just a few ants or were there lots of them?

@apsmine9 That is good to hear. I wonder what attracted them in the first place

I know it's not crumbs because I never have food when I'm working on my laptop.

@nawala123 Maybe. There's the chill. But anyways, it's alarming.

oh no. I hope they will not claim your laptop as their habitat
