We all know that Trump virtually worships Putin. Putin knows this, I'm sure when Trump is pressured to issue some anti remark he calls Putin and get his permission. Never before in history has the United States been so obedient. Further, looking at history it was only during WWII that they were allies. After that was the 'Cold War' where the US and Soviet Union used other countries to play their war games; i.e the Korean War, the Vietnam War. Putin will do everything to keep Trump and his Magats in power, for never before has Russian had so much control

I can understand your concerns. Trump's approach to Putin has certainly raised a lot of questions. What concerns me most is how these political decisions affect Ukraine and the people caught up in the war. It is always ordinary people who end up suffering the most.

Exactly. Russia invaded Ukraine. The US should never have supported it. Trump never should have tried to destroy Zelenskyy

The Cold War part is true, lots of countries got pulled into fights that wasn't really theirs. Korea and Vietnam are the big examples of that. Not sure about the rest, but it's wild how much the relationship between the two countries changed over the years.

Until Trump, most Presidents saw Russia as a rival. Trump sees Russia as a brother
