Someone on Nextdoor was advertising a leaf blower and a separate trimmer..both for 15 bucks..which is a super deal if they work. She said in the ad they worked a few years ago..OK, umm can she possibly plug them in and try before selling? Who in the world would want to buy these if they don't work? I told her if she could verify they work I would be happy to buy them. Who knows if she is dippy enough to advertise them without verifying they work..She may not even reply.

I wouldn’t buy them unless she turned them in front of me. I’m not in the mood to be had.

I guess I am a bit more trusting. I don't want to insult her. I would be alittle upset if I told someone something worked and then they insisted on trying it like I was lying about it or something. If I lost my money, it would be on me

@snowy22315 At this point in my life, I can’t take the chance of wasting money. But I get your point.

I would insist on having them started when I was there for the purchase.

I will accept her word, but she needs to try them and verify they work It's only 15 bucks. I don't need to make a federal case of it. I am guessing 50/50 she even gets back to me

Ha, that's a fair ask honestly. Nobody wants to pay even 15 bucks for something that might just be junk sitting in a garage. Hope she tests them and gets back to you, cause that's a pretty good deal if they run.
