Is there any such thing as too many pens?

I just cleaned off and organized my side table in the bedroom.
While doing so I found a bunch of pens. Gel, normal, paint pens, sharpies and other art markers.
I have always kept pens in cups. Since highschool days when I did it in my Locker. So that's why they are all in cups. I didn't realize how many I had until I reorganized them.
If you notice in the picture a lot of them are gel-pens and that is because I use gel pens in my planner for work, freelance etc.
The paint pens are amazing. I had an old set, but I got some in the last couple days that are so cool! I shared a picture earlier using them to paint rocks.
And yes, i realize there are mistakes in this post. I used my phone, half typing and half voice to text so its gonna be a little messy.
Anyway. Is there any such thing as too many pens?

No. I probably have 50 in my kitchen drawer. Nothing fancy, all standard black or blue ink.

Do you have a favorite type of pen? Ballpoint? Gel? roller ball? BIC? uniball?

@thislittlepennyearns - No, not really. As long as they work when I take them.

I have a ton of them. Once in awhile I will check them all out and toss the ones that have dried up.

@thislittlepennyearns When I was traveling, always scooped up free hotel pens.

I did that today. Threw a bunch out that had lost their caps and had dried out.
