The Problem w/AI For Moderation

Dear all, Some platforms are increasingly dependent on AI for moderation. The issue with this is that an AI moderation system can royally screw up, and when it does it can have serious consequences. When an automated system for example can SUSPEND an account from a platform for alleged violations (that objectively never occurred) that's egregious. I am not demonizing AI, it is a great tool generally, but having a human on the backend to catch AIs errors would be sensible to me.

That would be a smart thing to do but they took all the smart people out & put in AI what does that tell you ?

I get that AI helps with especially arduous tasks, but platforms who hand over everything to be handled by AI just strike me as straight up lazy. @2ndchances24

So true bro, automated systems ban people for no reason all the time. They really need to add human reviewers to fix these mistakes. It's so frustrating losing your account like that.

AI is good but it needs humans to check up on it.
