Most of the users of mylot know I eat only once in a day. Only dinner. No breakfast, no lunch either. I don't feel hungry in the daytime. But if I'm enforced to observe fast on a special day, I start feeling hungry even in the daytime. Similarly I can keep awake for the whole night, but if I'm forced to keep awake, I start feeling sleepy from the evening. I don't know why this happens. Would any of you can explain it to me??

Honestly I think it's mostly your mind doing it. When you choose something your body just goes along, but once it's forced you start paying attention to every little hunger or sleepy feeling. Its like being told not to think about something and then thats all you can think about.

Thank you. Perhaps you are right. I thought about it many times, but ended up having no answer. There was a time when I used to eat thrice or even sometimes four times a day. But suddenly something happened one day and my habit changed. It's a long story.

I guess it’s because you have shifted your routine and normally your brain starts to noticed the changes and it overwhelms deep inside. When a behavior is completely your choice, your mind and body treat it as routine and safe. But the moment an external obligation or rule forces that exact same behavior upon you, your brain reframes the situation from control to deprivation or effort, triggering noticeable physical and mental reactions.
