I'm Watching a Show Called "Elsbeth"

I had seen a few episodes of this show a couple of years ago while on an international flight, but I hadn't seen it since. It's a comedy but also sort of a crime show. The main character, Elsbeth, is an attorney from Chicago. The Department of Justice sends her to New York City under a Consent Decree to investigate the New York Police Department. But while she's there, she gets herself involved with the detectives and helps solve crimes. She's very quirky, almost like a female version of the show "Monk" with Tony Shaloub. It's cute and simple and easy. I like it. Have you seen it?

I have seen one or two episodes, but I’ve liked the actress, Carrie Preston for a long time. I like offbeat characters and actors.

I watched that last night. Show is kind of silly, but they have some good guest stars in there sometimes. Last week Richard Thomas was on.
