Dry weather affecting my Dogs

Lately this weather has been really unpredictable and the worst that suffer this are these poor animals. Dealing with the dry weather has been such a headache especially seeing how much it’s affecting my French Bulldog. With the moisture completely stripped out of the air, her skin has gotten super dry and flaky, and she won't stop scratching at her ears. Frenchies already have sensitive skin and those open, bat-like ears that catch everything, so this crisp air is just making her discomfort ten times worse. I’ve been trying to keep her comfortable with humidifiers around the house and checking her ears constantly, but it feels like a constant battle against the elements to keep her skin from drying out completely.
Right now, I am cleaning her ears with Povidone Iodine so to dry up patches that was caused by her scratching constantly. I might give her a bath as well if this weather will persist tomorrow.
For anyone else dealing with pets struggling in this dry weather, what home remedies or vet-approved ear cleansers and balm routines have actually worked to soothe your dog's itchy skin?

It sure is such a hassle for her she's scratching here and there, I did put some Povidone Iodine on her ears to help with it so it won't turn into a wound. I might give her a bath well see.

I agree! That's why we need to prepare ourselves for it. However, pets are the most affected because they can't take care of themselves with harsh weather conditions.

I know! It's sad because they can only do so little they aren't humans that can complain or do something and as fur parents we have to monitor them for them to get comfortable. Hope the weather will cool down any time soon.
