I Finally Adjusted to Wearing Spectacles

About a year ago they made a pair of eyeglasses for me that had the progressive lenses or no-line lenses where there was a different prescription at the top and a different prescription at the bottom but you didn't see a line. Well, I never could wear them. They made me feel dizzy and sick. So this year I had them make me bifocals with lines. It's taken me 3 months but I finally have gotten used to them and can wear them without getting a headache or feeling dizzy. I guess it just took a learning-curve.

I have been wearing progressive glassed for 9 years. I prefer it over bifocals. We usually associate bifocal glasses to grandmas. So that's why my eye doctor never recommended them.

I wear regular glasses every day, but when I read, I take off my glasses and can read without them; otherwise, with the glasses, everything blurs for me. BTW, I haven't seen you mention her in a long time. How is your MIL?
