What is one item you refuse to buy the generic or dupe version?

I usually try to buy store-brand items but to save money, especially with how expensive everything is these days. Most of the time, generic or dupe items taste or work exactly the Same as the well-known brand names. However, when it comes to bath soap and toilet paper, I just can’t compromise on the quality.
Are you strict about buying brand names for certain products? Or do you always go for the cheapest option? What is the one item you will never buy generic?

I have been vocal lately about my preference for Coca-Cola. I will not buy that generic cola they try to pass off as Coke. It never tastes the same. I would also say toilet paper as well. You end buying it more often if you go with generic.

I can relate to that and there is nothing to be ashamed of loving the taste of Coca-Cola I too prefer Coke than any other soda beverages (but the diet one would be a good one *winks). Yes we all have our preference of toilet paper I rather put it on my budget list than compromising on the cheaper brands cos some cheaper brands don't last long.

@heaytheblogger I don’t like the taste of Diet Coke, but I’ll drink it any day over Coke Zero. Diet Coke is way better than that one.

@AmbiePam I so agree on that! I don't know what they put in Coke Zero and i just don't know if it's just me or does Coke Zero taste a bit blander than the other Coca-Colas?

I know but it's not just about that I really go for the quality aside from the generic ones doesn't last that long they also aren't made with pure cotton paper some of them are made by recycled material just as those toilet paper you get from public toilets. and it's not really derma friendly it itches the skin sometime.
