Mind Control

In 'Ancient' days, children were granted freedom and expected to exercise judgement. PLaying outside without supervision they gained a sense of themselves and others. Exercising, there were few overweight children, in fact, most were slender. They lived life here and now in real time. The only moments of fantasy were watching a show on television, and then, in those days, television viewing was restricted. Today kids are kept under lock, supervised every moment they walked through the door. Whether brought to and from school or taken to some venue they are never on their own. Staying inside, living on cell phones or computers, they have no recognition of reality. They believe what they are told and their opinions are shaped by those who control them. Now, increasing the insanity comes A.I. where a child is controlled by a computer program. It is impossible for them to think for themselves, to live in reality.

Yes... that is true, yet our children's children live in a virtual prison.

The part about kids being walked to and from everywhere really stuck with me... they never get to figure stuff out on their own anymore, smh. Feels like nobody gets to be a little feral these days.

Being on your own, making your own decisions is necessary. Today kids are unable to think, to deal with themselves. Look at all the people always on their cell phones, afraid to be alone.

So true. That's why I traveled a lot with my son when he was a kid. I exposed him to nature, the mountains, the seas, and to play and enjoy outside. And yes we were more free when we were kids. We didn't have to fear violence outside our homes.
