Obsessed crazy woman number four. Portraying a totally demented woman Glen Close did a great job. She made me jump when she appeared. This is the one movie that should teach everyone if you have a good life and loving family but are tempted to have that one fling, think twice, and don’t give into your desire. It never works out right. The psychological thriller “Fatal Attraction” came out in 1987. Dan Gallagher played by Michael Douglas had it all, a beautiful wife Beth played by Anne Archer, and a small daughter named Ellen. Dan has a good job as a publishing attorney. He and his wife want to make life better for their daughter instead of living in a Manhattan apartment, One weekend his wife and daughter go to Bedford, NY to visit her parents because she wants to see a house there that they might buy. Dan stays behind for a meeting at his work. That weekend he gets tempted by a colleague Alex Forrest played by Glen Close and the desire mounts so he figures OK a quick weekend affair and no one the wiser. Unfortunately for Dan, it turns out that Alex is an obsessed woman, a bit on the weird side and does not let anything stand in her way. She wants Dan and she says she is pregnant. Suddenly Dan’s life is turned upside down. Alex stalks him, his wife gets into an accident, and even his daughter disappears for a short while, Obsessed ,deranged, and on a roll Alex is scary. The film takes you on a roller coaster ride with a slam bang finish that will leave you breathless? Would you like to see the pet bunny boiling in a big pot?
