A Turkey baguette ….on a Wednesday !

So my Mom and I usually go shopping on a Thursday and then I have a Turkey baguette for lunch before coming home.
This week, however, she has something happening tomorrow so we changed our day.
I met her as usual on the car park of the supermarket.
It was kind of strange today as we obviously didn’t see any of the people we usually see on a Thursday ….
Anyway, shopping was done and lunch was had.
We had an almighty downpour of rain so I waited a while before going out to get my bus into town.
I did get some bargains , which I will post about later ….

It's Thursday morning here. It's almost 7:30am and it's already very hot. I could feel the start of the El Niño already. I will be very busy at work today.

I worked online this morning, mylotted and went into the town for lunch, and went to the bank.. I also stopped at Dollar Tree

I'm glad to hear you didn't cancel your lunch plans with your mom due to an appointment on your normal day. Spending time with family is important, even if you have to adjust the time by a day or two!

I seem to have a migraine of some sort so my plans changed a little. I’m hoping I can nip it in the bud. I think I’m about caught up in all the posts I missed on my cruise so at least I did that.

@traceyjayne I spent time making baked salmon with sweet potato wedges and a mustard and parsley sauce. Followed by tiramisu. I’d have saved you some but it was made using amaretto and I don’t think you’re too fond of that.
