I mean, I guess I should go ahead and start this with a disclaimer that I had credit on my account because something from a previous order wasn't shipped on time. So I didn't pay anything out of pocket for this order. I used the refund credit from that messed-up order.
Okay, now that the disclaimer is out of the way, let's get into the meat of this order. It's really not that exciting, but for the life of me, I cannot think of anything else to write about. LOL.
The three people who read my posts on a regular basis know that I order things from AliExpress pretty often because I find some fantastic deals there. That's where this order is from. Two of the items are for the thirteen-year-old (otherwise known as she child), and then I found some awesome craft supplies. Because we all know what I need is MORE craft supplies. Haha.
ANYWAY, I'm going to compare the regular price to what I paid for each item. And for the sake of this exercise, since I didn't pay anything out of pocket, we're going to call my cost zero every time. Just to see how much money I "saved."
**The first item** is a 24-pack of fabric markers. Since I got my paint pens last week, I've really wanted to do some painting and artwork on canvas bags and denim items. So I was pretty happy when I came across these!
They're normally $13.22, and since I paid $0.00 out of pocket, that's a savings of $13.22 on the first item.
**The second item** is a Gothic bunny keychain for the thirteen-year-old. She's entered the emo/goth-esque portion of her teenage years, which is a phase I very much went through myself. So when I see something like this that's cute, I ask her what she thinks, and usually, she wants it. Thanks to surveys and other side hustles, I can usually grab little things like this for her.
She was really happy with this one. I almost got one for myself, too. Haha.
The regular price was $3.54, so that's another $3.54 in savings since I paid $0.00 out of pocket.
**The third and final item** in this order is the one that made me smile the most. Most of you know we have chickens. They're really she child's chickens, so when I saw these, I knew she needed them.
She loves crazy socks, so these are right up her alley! They're normally $4.99, and I know she's going to love them.
So, let's add everything up!
The total regular price for all three items would have been **$21.75**. My out-of-pocket cost? **$0.00!**
I think I did pretty good, even if I do say so myself.
Did you score any deals today?

I overpaid for a protein bar at the gas station. Does that count as a deal?

Only if it was the Reeses one that you told me about. Because those are delicious.

@teamfreak16 I don’t think I’ve had that one. Does it come in fun flavors too

Tha sounds adorable.
I haven't told her I got them for her. She knows about the bunny thing, but I thought the socks would be a cute surprise.

I did get paid from some survey sites for completing surveys this morning.
