I can't seem to get a grip on how my health got so screwed up to where I can't keep up with how diabetes can turn your health totally up side down, you damned either way. I got this from my Diabetes & Endocrinology "C peptide is low, this means you could be at risk for diabetic ketoacidosis if you miss your insulin. Being on Jardiance can increase your risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. I Recommend you stop jardiance for this reason. We currently are not prescribing jardiance, this is prescribed by your primary are provider. You may want to discuss this with your primary care provider prior to stopping the medication. We will copy results to your primary are provider so he is aware. If you stop jardiance and notice your blood sugar readings are going higher, let us know and we can help you make insulin adjustments to improve your blood sugar readings. I don't know how far I can go back on my health records but all this stuff could have been going on way back B-4 I crashed in the hosp & I'm just not getting why didn't any 1 do anything about way back like 2010 or sooner ? For all I know I could have had Diabetes way b-4 I crashed in 2023 with my gallbladder & Pancreas, this all so crazy to me right now.

I hope you can get this sorted with your doctor. It amazes me sometimes what doctors fail to go over with their patients. I realize they have a lot of patients to look after, but that’s just not a good reason to neglect vital information.

I totally agree, & that's why I like the Dr's I have now cause they are up front & let me know what's going on.

Praying you get some answers soon... that part about nobody catching it back in 2010 would make me mad too. Hope your care team sorts the insulin stuff out fast, you deserve straight answers fr.

They are changing up my meds so I hope it helps but not sure if anything will work at this stage of my health. "Peoples' pancreas's can get tired over the years and lose the ability to make insulin. Yours has done that. I don't know whether they checked cpeptide in the past. I can only tell you what it is now. Any time someone is on a medication like jardiance or farxiga we check a cpeptide to evaluate your risk of diabetic ketoacidosis. Because your cpeptide is low, you could be at risk when taking the medication (like jardiance or farxiga) or if you are without your insulin for too long."

@Wrexxo I don't think it will but only time will tell right ? I'm keeping a record for the next 3 mons when I take a insulin shot to see if staying on it is working or not. Cause there's been days that it is in the lower 100's & you don't want to take any insulin when it's that low.
