Cashew nut

When i was walking from my workplace i Saw a cashew tree. The tree is bearing some young fruit. It may take months to get the fruit ripe and edible. Cashew nut does not originate from Indonesia but it grows well in here. Usually it is grown in less fertile land like karst land. Cashew is rather bit expensive because it is seasonal so the production is limited. Many people love it including me.

Cashew trees are grown in my state, but not at or near town. It is grown near our state capital. After 1999 when the Tsunami hit our state near the coast. The storm had destroyed all the cashew trees.

Because it must be imported. By the way it is expensive too actually in here
