It's Daylight Savings Time again in America

It's that annoying biannual time of year when we have to change our clocks in most of America. Maybe some of you have forgotten since this year it falls on the same day as Halloween. It's "fall back" meaning turn the clock back an hour before going to bed meaning you technically gain an hour's sleep. I don't know about you but I've never gained an hour's sleep and time change always wreaks sleep havoc. So don't forget to change your clocks and watches tonight.

I would like to stay on standard time after this.

Half of our country also falls back tonight, and the northern part of Mexico also falls back. I don't mind it, it is just a fact of life it seems. We don't have much to turn back, an antique mantel clock, a desk clock, the microwave and the stove.

I’m glad my phone does it automatically or I know half the time I’d just forget.

Well technically it is tomorrow since the official change I think is at 2 AM. Not looking forward to the time change that's for sure.

Gaining an hour of sleep sounds nice but i never actually feel it either... my body just wakes up at the old time anyway.

Nope, you have it backwards. We are leaving Daylight Saving Time and going back to the original Standard Time. And then they should suck my clock and leave it alone.

Just now
Well, they refer to the time changes as daylight savings. I agree. Pick one and stop this nonsense.
