Learning to simply walk away instead of proving I am right

And that takes a shitload of willpower. Especially knowing that whomever I was talking to will think they are right because I simply stopped and walked off. But nope. They are still wrong. I've simply decided to let people be wrong. They can either find the truth on their own or continue in their path. Maybe being wrong makes them happy. Lord knows I don't want to rain on anyone's parade. ***tokes*** Anyway that's all for now. See you next month.

My husband has always done that, even when a person begins to gossip or run somebody or something down, he just turns and walks away quietly. Sometimes actions speak louder than words.

I had to learn to do that with a close family member. It didn’t feel good to let them think they were right simply because I shut up about it, but it isn’t worth pursuing with the sixth most stubborn person I’ve ever known (I once ranked the top 10 during a 2 1/2 hour doctor wait without a phone).
