I think next year we will turn out the lights and forget about Halloween. We worked all day putting up the purple and orange mini lights, then setting up the table, the light for the table. I covered the bowls with foil and changed the batteries in the spooky plastic ghosts that howl when someone stands in front of them. I would bet in a little over an hour we had no less than 50 kids...and 70% of them do not live in this are of town. AND there were quite a few way over 10 years old, and not wearing much of a costume. Yeah..this is our last year. Our neighbors across the street all dressed in pirate's outfits. Even their kids were pirates. Last year the Mom was the Energizer Bunny and her husband's costume had a large Battery on it. Can't remember what the kids were. LOL One Older treater tonight was dressed up like mother nature, I guess..she said she was trading for a Treat. I looked at it and it was a Tiny Plastic Fish. I put it on my desk beside my pink duck I got from the Doctor's Office. We were getting really low on candy and there was a Lull in the Traffic, so we decided to shut 'er down! I will be Sore tomorrow with all the climbing up the ladder and on my feet most of the day! I made Tuna Fish Salad for supper. Had to use Sweet Relish instead of Salad Cubes..it was okay, but really wished I had had the Cubes!

We had only ten children that came to our house. I gave each one a handful of candy.

We don't get any here and I miss seeing them. As long as they are polite I don't mind teenagers trick or treating. They deserve fun and candy too

Halloween may be over but now you get to start thinking about Thanksgiving.

the tiny plastic fish next to the pink duck made me laugh... i love that your desk is basically a little museum now. Sorry about the 70% from across town thing, that would wear me out too, bruh.
