One of my friends on mylot wishes me good morning. Obviously it was morning at his or her place. I recieve the comment when it is afternoon or evening here in India. I get confused what should I wish them. Should I wish him good evening or good afternoon or good morning?? Can anybody here please solve my problem??

I would just say, “Good morning. Here, it is evening.”

Since you are wishing them a good whatever-it-is then go with whatever time it is in their place. Ideally they would do the same for you but obviously they would need to check... Or you could just wish them a good day!

Anything you want! I'd probably wish them a good afternoon (what it is here). They'd get the "joke."

Just wish them good morning back since thats the time it is for them... lol it also saves you from doing any timezone math. i always go with whatever time it is on their end.
