Hello all. I just checked the starfruit tree and found so many fruits are in very bad condition. Many fruits fell down and some are still on the tree but have black tiny spot on the skin of the fruit. It means that fruit fly have injected their eggs and the fruit is no longer can grow properly and not edible anymore because worms will pop out in few weeks. The young fruits should be wrap in plastic bag to prevent fruit fly to hit but my condition is not yet good to climb and wrap them, Only some reachable by hand that wrapped in plastic.

Sorry about your starfruit tree, those black spots would bug me too... The bags on the few you could reach was smart, hopefully those ones make it fwiw.

We had this tree in our native village....and I remember, few monkeys used to attack these starfruit, they would hardly eat, but would take a bite and waste it
