Is Big Brother Watching You?

My city is installing these cameras all over the place and at $50 a pop, the city and the radar company are making a killing. As I started researching the number of accidents, I found that many cities have reduced the time of their amber lights to insure that more people will be caught by these lights. Data also indicates that rear end collisions go up markedly after these lights are installed as people slam on brakes to prevent getting a ticket. Personally, I think it is a racket, but I would like to know what you think. If you feel it is unfair, or just want more information, check out this link. http://www65.safesecurewe...

Yes, Big Brother is coming, but as long as it does not break the privacy I don“t see any problems on streets being watched by cameras. In the specific case of your city I will check out the link before I write anything.

Wow, well IT sounds like it has pros and cons but since they are going to do this. it looks like we have to get used to it. Unless, it does come up for a vote and we get a voice in it..
