Eating slowly at the dinner table rather than bolting your food down will keep you slim and make dining a far more enjoyable experience, a new study has found

Kathleen Melanson, assistant professor of nutrition and food science at the University of Rhode Island, in the US, worked with 30 college-age women to provide evidence that this 30-year-old theory has merit. Eating at a more measured pace can help maintain weight and even promote weight loss, especially if it is done three times a day, she said. That could lead to 210 fewer calories daily.

gosh, i think that's discrimination! those companies that won't accept him just don't know much they've lost.

There are some good answers. First what is the cause of his obesity? Too much food? Not enough ecercise? There may be a third reason: I think some of it comes from hormones given to animals to make them fatter. We eat those animals along with the hormones. I think those same hormones make us eat more too. Afterall, how many fat vegetarians do you see?

Most people don't see past the fat, fat people are considered lazy and stupid, which in most cases is not true. My overweight friend also has problems getting a job the only answer probably is to conform to society and slim, although it shouldn't be that way.

As long as we as a society are taught to judge by what we see, that you have to be model-thin to be happy...then anyone who is not thin will have problems.
