Both, depending on the information. For quick things, technology or easily accessible starting points, the internet is awesome. For in-depth research, journals and books cannot be beat. Not that these things aren't also online. One of the things I love about this time period is just how easy it is for me to find the information I need for classes or for my students, when I am online.

There are some informations that can be found better in books than on the internet, anyway some of the sources on the internet are first published in books before they become published over the internet. Internet just makes the access of the information a lot easier but the books are truly the source of info.

I believe people prefer the internet because it's simpler to achieve and access, and the knowledge is well reduced and resumed. I believe that if you want to become more well informed and be in the possession of true knowledge you should recurr to books instead, even if it proves to be a little more expensive.

Internet is more fast, sure. But books can tell you more.

I actually prefer books because you never know if the information you find online is accurate or not. When I did research papers in college, my professors loved that I used more books then internet.

I hate to walk to the library or whatever so I go on the internet for any information I want and save time!

libraries are a wealth of information - books and computers, magazines and newspapers are all found at the library and have a wealth of information to share
Studying a few good books, and I prefer the library, can be well worth the effort. The net has lots of information however you need to know where it comes from. misinformation is much easier on the net. Good luck finding the information you seek!
