how old where you when you first had a child?

I was 18

15... its too young.. i was 29

I was 17 when i got pregnant with my first and 18 when I had her

I was 21.

I was 21 when I concieved and 22 when I delivered her. I enjoyed my young adulthood before I had her, but now I can't imagine my life without her.

I was 18 (two weeks after my 18th birthday) when I had my son. I'm now 19, full time wife, mom and college student. And I love it. I still go out and have fun, but I would rather spend the night reading and playing with my son. He doesn't talk about me behind my back, or say I look ugly, or try to steal my man. haha

I still haven't had my first child and I'm 26

Wow that's young...I was 24 for my first and 33 for my second..and I still felt like a fish out of water...How ever did you manage?

i am 16 now and i dont expect to reproduce some children and i would be happy if atleast 10 years pass from now from having children(if my future wife allows)

I just adopted my first, and I am 37. She is the greatest joy of my life.

16 and in india, wouldn't that have been a difficult time for you. My girlfriend and I were both 15 when she got pregnant but we were both 16 when our son was born. What did you have?

I had just turned 25 when I had my first, I was 27 with my next and 28 with my last one! I have two girls and a boy and I love them very much. Being a mom at any age is difficult. I think that most (good) moms love their children and have good days and bad days. I'm pretty sure that at age 16 I wouldn't have been as good of a mom that I am. That doesn't mean that I think that you weren't a good mom at 16 I just think that it would be really hard. Good job sweetcakes!

I was 17 when I had my first child. I now have 2 daughters and a son, and 2 stepdaughters. My mother was 19 when she had me and my grandmother was 15 when she had my mom, so I guess it's a family tradition to have children young - hopefully my own daughter will break that cycle!
