can you make anything famous on myspace?

i would like your feedback!2 months ago i was bored senseless so like you do i made a profile about a slightly bruised apple on myspace (completley random i know)

it took about 2 days to set the whole thing up and then i just sent about 2000 friend requests. well i now have 13,000 friends and get around 25 friend requests per day.
Makes you think if myspace really is a social networking site or just a way of people to get cheap promotion. What do you think?

Well, Personally I think people just liked the original idea of an apple having a myspace, Hell I would be your friend on myspace if you where an apple ;)

it is definately both. i know that i use myspace to talk to and keep in touch with friends that i never see anymore. but i do get tons of invites by bands and comedians and every other thing every week. i guess it's a big deal to have a lot of friends. i think it's dumb to be myspace friends with people you never talk to, don't know and never even think about.
