What do you guys think about this move? Is it arrogant, or is Jen trying to be nice and reconcile old wounds?

Just because they are ex-in laws doesn't mean she can't still be friends with them. My dad calls my maternal grandma mom and he and my mom have been divorced nearly 15 years. I don't think theres anything wrong with it.

That's really cool. I appreciate hearing about people who aren't bitter after tough times. If people could forgive more easily divorce probably would not be so traumatic for the extended families and children involved.

i dont think it's either one..i think she loves them in a special way and just because her marriage and brad pitt doesnt work out, it doesnt mean that she have to cut all ties with her ex in laws!

When you get involved with a person you often become very close to their side of the family, infact you often view them as your own family. Just because something doesn't work out with the two people in the relationship doesn't mean that the family should be cut off from seeing the ex, I do think that it could be a bit uncomfortable, though.
