because-- 1.we do not like to socialise 2.we like to mind our own business 3.we have lost faith in our system of society TELL THE OTHER REASONS

Because we are losing the art of being friendly and finding friends. We are becoming anti-social be default. Easier to talk to someone via cyber space than talk to our next door neighbour. Easier to read the paper in the coffee shop than say hello, how are you to the guy at the next table. We are scared of what other people may think of us. We don't like being rejected. We would rather keep to ourselves and be safe than take a chance on someone actually liking us.
