What is the whole guru on why particular sellers make more $ on their DIY designs on ebay vs. others? Is it the photos taken, the models, the actual design, the popularity? I've seen some gorgeous things go for only a few bucks and some less gorgeous designs go for $$$$. It's very strange to me.

I often wonder this too.. I think it depends on pricing, layouts, quailty. Alot of people arent too well known when they first start. You need to get a good clientelle, you need to promote yourself :)

True. The part that sucks is not getting jack at first for sending out a good product! I've sold very little of my DIY stuff. Not that I expect much, I just need to be consistent and keep it rolling!

The only way to get what you want for your product is to PRICE it the way you want. just promote, send out a few samples to a sample program or to some people who might like it.. if they see the quality of your item is awesome and worth paying, they wont mind paying that :)
what do you make
