I would very much like to visit India. I don't even know which part of India would be the best to visit. I would like to see the "real" India, not the tourist India. Does anyone have any suggestions about where to go, the best places to eat and hotels to stay in. I'm excited yet scared to emmerse myself in such a different culture from my own. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You wouldn't want to see the real India. Not unless you want to be stuck in a place so overcrowded that you have a problem breathing - that would definitely make you anxious. Also, the place is unhygienic and someone foreign like you wouldn't get used to it too well.

Someone foreign like me eh? You would be foreign there too ya know! Humm... I would stand out though, with my green eyes and American loud mouth opinions. Are you saying India is like a Japanese tram? I do not like crowds, most of the country will just have to go on vacation to Singapore when I decide to visit India. That can be arranged right? hehe Unhygienic you say? Oh my, I would die. Seriously.

As bad or worse I think. Singapore is totally different. It is even better than America. You wouldn't want to leave when you come visit. Seriously speaking.
