Do you think she was a plus sized model?

No! I think that's how models should look and at the size. Way sexier than the anorexic look!

Nope =) She was a "real" woman. She had all the curves in all the right places.

In the 1960's the size charts for women were much smaller than they are today. A size 14 bye 1960 standards would be about a size 8-10 today. Marilyn Monroe was an average woman, not plus sized.

They referred to her as a plus size model. She went through a lot of abuse from her boyfriend or husband too. It just shows that even models don't get treated right. I think she was absolutely beautiful, and I think she looked great. If you want to learn anymore about her, check out this site.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marilyn_Monroe

Marilyn Monroe - Marilyn Monroe Famous Pose
She still would considered a plus size according to today's standards (some modeling agencys) Tyra Banks currently would be about the same size as Marilyn Monroe. I idolize women like Tyra, Marilyn, and Dorothy Dandridge.

I think that is how all models should be. It's kinda sickening to see skinny models that starve themselves, I think it gives kids a bad idea of what beautiful is.

I wouldn't call her a + size, I think she was what a woman was supposed to be...she was a natural woman.

I think she was the perfect size! I think the media needs more normal sized, or average sized females in the industry. Keep it real! Not real skinny.

By todays standards she is. I think she looked good and not malnurished like the ones are now.

She would be considered one now. I believe anyone size six or up is a "plus size model" in the business. I'm not sure if she was considered one then though. However, I think she was more beautiful than any models today.
