as we are being led to believe through the mainstream media? Is global warming really melting the icecaps as we are being led to believe? are polar bears drowning, sea rising ect, are we all doomed?

Scientists have already indicated that if the countries all over the world do not take any action on global warming, it would reach dangerous proportion in 10 years. If any one puts a search in mylot on Global Warming, one will find there are quite a good discussions taken place earlier.

Yes, and I'm disappointed that it's not covered or talked about as much as it should. It is a huge problem and is getting progressively worse. Population is exploding and the use of fossil fuels are climbing, which accelerates global warming at a faster rate than 20 years ago. It's an issue that deserves more attention. People need to be educated on global warming.

The earth and mother nature go through cycles. Man may have a small temporary effect, but nature is still too powefull for us. Look at the Valdez oil spill, though that was a horrible disaster, in time nature is cleaning and cleaning with wave and weather action. It may take years, but nature wins out in the end

As of my knowledge its true that global warming really melting the icecaps becaue of human invasions and mainly pollution of all the things i.e., water, air, space etc i think we should be watchful and try to reduce this pollution and by not causing other damages to the earth.
