Acceptable Lies to Tell Children?

What are some lies that are popular to tell children? I can think of three right now: Santa Claus brought your Christmas presents, the Tooth Fairy left you money, and the Easter Bunny brought your Easter baskets. I'm sure you've got more...

this one is not common but i used it on my son once..lol he was begging me for icecream i told him no and he asked why..i then said cause its not icecream season..lol
