I've done a couple but I want to know what the purpose of it is?

It seems ot me that the best response is the one that is most helpful to you or that might be the most helpful to people in general reading the post. I guess it is somewhat subjective.

Ya, I base it on that. I also like it if someone is funny. But what do you think mylot uses it for?

Well. honestly I have not used my Lot for long but based on what I've seen it suggests additional evaluation of posted content has taken place and they might be interested in focusing on what content adds value to people if they use it at all. I'm not really sure.

i think that by selecting the best response or even to give them a '+' sign, it can actually help your friends to earn more. and it will be nice too that you choose a best response to boost up the confidence of the one who gave the best response.

i'm not 100% sure on its purpose, but so far i have only given best responses or positive feedback to people who directly respond to the topic at hand, with something useful to input and not just a yes or no type answer. if they respond with a nice answer but not exactly relevant to my initial topic, i won't give them a best response.

do you also give them a + for responding?
