Role of Maximus

Well, can't imagine anyone else other than Russell Crowe as Gladiator for the role. He's given a different dimension to an otherwise cruel and crazy profession. He's also shown us what it takes to be a leader. Way to go!!

Nope. I think he was the perfect actor for that role. Noone could have done a better job than him. If I had to pick one particular actor that could*possibly* fill his shoes, I'd go with Hugh Jackman. But he kind of lacks a ruggedness that Russell Crowe brought to the character.

well there are a few i can think of oldies but still goodies if you ask me lol Arnold Swarsanegar,Silvester stalone,Brad Pitt oh the list could be endless lol but i think russal crow did a good job he played that role well why would you really want anyone else to play it :p Good topic hope you have a nice day
