Help need some advice

Found a guy who's wonderful to me. The last guy i had was mentaly abusive and drank but i cant seem to get the ex out of my head and am affraid gonna loose the good one.

What is it that holds you back ? What do YOU think why you can't get your ex out of your head ? How long are you not together anymore ? Any idea why you let him abuse you ? You have to do some soul searching
