i'm afraid of darkness what should i do to beat this thing? / myLot

when i go in a dark street i have the feeling all the time that somebody's following me,in the night i sleep with tv.on...what should i do?

I think you should go and see a psyciatrist and also you can do is you can face your fears by setting a time limit every day like today you will close all your doors and windows and all your lights and sit in your chair for 5 minutes then tomorrow do this for 8 minutes and keep on doing this and keep on increasing the time till you are convince that you no longer fear darkness.............................................................
