Its simple,the outlook of the people have changed.People continue to live together as long as they love each other,tolerate each other or whatever.Its quite normal,but in India its still a new concept and rate is quite low because of the preachings by the relgions.So u see the bollywood movie KANK wasnt much appreciated in India but was a hit all over the world especially US and UK.

I dont think in India it is growing at a faster rate but yes in western countries, it holds true
