religions guides the person the right path ,but these days people ,mainly the leaders you can say are taking advantage of this for their selfish mean..if their is no religion than all will stand for one god (i think this will be better..) let me illustrate this. yesterday in my city their was riot between two parties ,but they took the advantage of religion ,one say they are hindus other says they are sikhs...but basically they are not humans ,they misuse this religion to make people fight and rule over people

there are so many different types of religions...although if you look at everything ....most of them have the same reason and rhyme..meaning, most of the teachings repeat within the different religions...the basic of them all it basiclly the same..if you understood that...=) the different religions are basied on spliting of a general religion for different types of whorship or practice...so basiclly the whole procedure of 'how' we worship is the main difference...people shouldn't fight about it..no matter what. i think religion exisit to help people, yes...if there were no religion, then our minds will make one...we as humans need to believe and explain things that happen to us in life. to explain these happenings we create a 'faith' to believe in..so mankind needs to believe in 'something' weather it be religion or something else.

I have been an atheist from the time I have been able to think philosophically...That was almost when I was in my earlier teens. Let me state clearly that religion is not associated with morality. It is unfortunate that politics in India is based on caste. Even the so called secular parties make use of polaitical sentiments of people. Things are not better in any part of India. Even in a state like Kerala, where people are educated & literacy is almost 100%, this continues to happen. When would people realize that faith is not to be taken in public? Like everything else , religion is getting commercialised. It is in the hands of people , who use it for personal/political agendas.
