I think that elderly drivers should be tested about every 6mo. Anyone else?

Yes, I do agree. I also think they should test everyone else too although not quite so often. Maybe once a year. There are too many bad drivers in this world and its like people take their driving tests once and then forget about the rules of the road. They need to be reminded of things.

Yes I think that is a great idea~ I know during and after my last pregnancy I chose not to drive. I was afraid that I would cause an accident, because of some dizzy spells and loss of vision I had. Some people will drive anyhow.

I think that would be insulting to many capable elderly drivers. They can be a danger, but so can a 30 year old drunk person, a 23 year old person chatting on his cell phone, or the 45 year old woman applying makeup while she is driving. Although elderly people tend to make driving errors they also tend to drive slowly. Many accidents are caused by younger people who drive well over the speed limit.

I think cell phone use while driving should be illegal everywhere. I also think women putting on makeup while driving is horrible. I should have clarified that I meant for changes in health, such as hearing, eyesight, delayed reactions etc...
