Topic's less exposure

Are you experiencing this now? Since myLot upgraded the only thing you can see now is the "today's top discussion" and not "today's recent discussion" we are used of before the upgrade. I've got so little responses on my discussions now. Even if i always put a comment in every response i've got and say thank you still the responses never go up. It seems no one sees my discussion and only friends keeps my topics up lately

I've seen a lot of people commenting on the fact that the first page is "todays hot topics", none of which have been positive comments (I don't like it either). Mylot seems to make changes according to what we do and don't like, so maybe next upgrade it will change :)

i just hope they've change how the discussion tabs look like. i hope they will rotate topics from time to time not only the the topic that has a highest response will go to the top. just hope that we will get our chance to be on top somehow:(

I agree every time i come to discussions i end up seeing the same topics. what they should do is have the recent discussions frist and the next heading as the highest number of responses discussion. it really is very annoying, every time i have to see the same thing and i am oh i just saw this and then go and find new and recent discussions. i think they should do something about it and moreover people tend to answer whatever shows up on the screen first so it basically kills the idea of discussion and everybody answers teh same question

yeah it seems like top discussions will be always on top then since they are the one we see everytime and we keep posting on that discussion. our topics don't even got a chance to be seen unless searched or the same tags with the other topics we are posting too or by friends who could be interested on our posts. thank you because you've noticed my topic:)

You are right even I have noticed this change. And I have also noticed that quantity of the topics has reduced. I am getting very few new topics.

yeah i would be happy if my topic would have atleast 10 response nowadays because it's really hard to get attention of other posters to post on your topics

It is stupid how they do that. I think most recent discussions should come up, not top discussions.

It is quite unfair placing top discussions up front, because this way other discussions with very less responses will actually don't have any responses anymore. It's so sad, even if we try our best to come up with a very good discussion, yet we don't get enough responses to get to the top.

That is sad. Maybe this is a reason why we need good friends that answer back your discussions. So far you're a good friend. I've seen you respond my 2 discussios. I am thinking to refer this mylot to all of my classmates yehey!. I hope I can make at least $1 a day. It's extra money. Good day!

I have been by passing the "Top discussions page". I got straight to the "New Discussions" link and browse thorugh those pages first. I figure that no one really has time to read 400+ posts anyway. I do get quite a few replies from my discussion, but I have a fairly health friends list.

it's really good to have friends that posts on your discussions, hope i had that too. i have maybe 10 of them that regularly post on my topics and that would be maximum:)

I wondered about this also. When I enter mylot I also see Top discussions instead of Recent discussions. I personally liked it the other way. You could see what people were posting in real time. Maybe they will change it back.

Yes that is true Alice that our topics have less exposure now. I don't like the new set up:( I really feel sad about it. I wanted the recent discussions shows up first when we log in to mylot community. After the upgrade I didn't even make another set of started discussion. I don't like it. I am getting lazy this past few days. I guess I'll better concentrate in uploading pics. I earn more in pics anyway:)+

maybe it is because there now a lot of posting done that topics with same thought are filing up and it becomes hard to see your topic. i think myLot should show topics that are actively discussed in that way it will encourage the topic starter to invite more people to answer the topic.
