When it comes to kitty litter, which do you like best: clumping, clay, crystals,or wood chips?

The clumping is the best and easiest to clean up.

We tend to use Tidy Cat, but we tried to switch to the Feline Pine stuff, and the cat wasn't exactly happy about it and refused to use the litter....

Definitely the crystals - more absorbent and much less smelly but they are a lot more expensive. Luckily my cat feels the same way! He hates clay and wood chips - just won't use those litters.

My favorite is the deoderized clumping kind. Wood chips don't seem to soak up the liquids very well, and the clay always seems to leave a mushy mess on the bottom. Never tried the crystals, but I've had great luck with the clumping kind. (Seems it's the easiest to keep the box cleaner too)

I prefer Arm & Hammer clumping for multi cats. We tried 4 or 5 different brand and this works the best for us and out cats. even if you don't clean the litter box for a day or two, it doesn't smell up the house.

The crystals absorb the urine really good, but that's a little too $rich$ for my blood. I have tried a couple of different brands and they all work fine, so I buy the cheapest multiple cat clumping litter because I have two cats and the clumping kind is easiest to clean.
