Do you keep up with current affairs each day? Do you religiously watch the news each day as part of your daily program, or do you just not worry too much about what is happening in the world?

I never kept up with curent affairs until I re-entered college at age 30 and took the Paralegal course and minored in Political Science. Most of my courses were based on current affairs projects, so I got accustomed to checking them daily for 4 years. Now it is a habit and I check on everything happening in the world daily. It is nice to be in the know. Some days I feel I need to take a break and just focus on what is happening in my world. But I always somehow resort back to checking the news on TV or the internet. It is addictive or I am just way too nosey.

No, I do not keep up with current affairs unless it is in the medical (particularly the veterinary medical) department. For all I'm concerned, humanity is done for as it is.
