FIRE PROTECTION METHODS IN GENERAL ENGINEERING WORKSHOPS. i WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT ARE THE IMportATNT METHODS ARE USED FOR FORE PROTECTION IN GENERAL ENGNEERING WORKSHOPS.

Mostly common sense, identifying the different types of hazards. By knowing what dangers there are gives you an idea of what safety steps need to taken. If you have gas for instance you need to have a fire extinguisher for that type of gas. Make sure that all hazardous areas a clearly marked and all staff have the appropriate safety equipment on. Know all the fire escapes and exits.
