Apparently canola oil is actually rapeseed oil but they had the name changed due to marketing purposes, no wonder lol! Had you guys heard of "rapeseed" oil before today?

Where are you finding all these facts ? LOL No, I have never heard of 'rapeseed' oil until now. I don't think I would have wanted to buy and use something named like that lol. I do use it though, since I use canola oil lol.

It's been called rapeseed in the UK for several years. Strange though, years ago we never saw this crop but it seems to be everywhere nowadays.

I boycott it because I don't like to think of all those poor little seeds being abused like that! I'm organizing a committee to fight for rapeseed rights, who's with me?! I do use canola oil to cook my Freedom Fries, though. ;-)
